Straight Talk – Income Tax Myths and Facts – Entrepreneur to Entrepreneur

It was great!  A straight-talk lunch seminar at HCC, small business owner-to-owner about Income Tax Myths & Facts, by a serial entrepreneur, CPA, small business mentor, Vice President of SCORE Houston, full-time Accounting Professor…and yes… all the same man, Dr. Mohamad (Mo) Tehrani.

10-13325810-141651We had forty gather.  Most were existing entrepreneurs and some were preparing to start a business. They came to hear from and talk with Mo.  He breaks it down, so owners can take more responsibility for understanding their business taxes and speak more intelligently with their own accountants.  Photo Web Album

Our workshops, seminars, boot camps and summits are done in collaboration with many strategic partners from throughout Houston including long-time partner, SCORE.

Surveys said the seminar was excellent.  They also asked for more info about the Center for Entrepreneurship and all of HCC’s Entrepreneurial offerings.  Some present were motivated to sign up for some of Dr. Tehrani’s advanced accounting and tax accounting classes (for college credit), because “He speaks entrepreneur!”
