The HCC Center for Entrepreneurship hosted a packed house on Tuesday October 18, 2011. The event featured John Whaley, owner of the PERT Center, serial entrepreneur, HCC graduate of the Entrepreneurship Certificate, and Business Adviser to the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative. John’s fast-paced, action-packed session demonstrated to aspiring and existing business owners the benefits of incorporating social media marketing. HCC “Best in Class” students, who specialize in Social Media, presented their services and expertise at student prices. The event was attended by HCC students, small business owners, and graduates of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. Some lucky attendees won gift certificates to the November 5, 2011 HCC SCORE Business Ownership Workshops. The Social Media Workshop was so successful, it will become a recurring event!
